Teal the cows come home

As you may have noticed these are not my nails, these pretty little teeny tiny hands -and nails- belong to my niece.

It’s school holidays here and she was apparently begging to come and have a sleep over at our house…I’m still not so sure, I think it was a ploy to hand her off for a little bit. If it was to convince us to have kids, well sorry, didn’t work. I’m kidding. She’s pretty well behaved.

We got up to a bunch of stuff like painting nails. Wow, shocking. Who saw that one coming?

We also baked some cookies with super sickly sweet -thank-you dear pinterest- icing, went for a ride on the tram to Glenelg where we got hot chocolates and walk down to the wharf but…it was closed. Who closes a wharf?! So we didn’t do that, but we looked at it. Climbed a gigantic sculpture and debated weather we were now taller than everyone.
To cap off the day we rolled down some very green hills and played on some workout equipment. I kid you not.

I think that makes a pretty good start to the school holidays. On another note, I am so thankful I don’t have kids yet because I am so tired! Hats off to all you mummies out there.
