So it was probably a very, very bad idea last week to go look at all the pretty new season clothing in stores like Witchery, Sussan and Portmans, but it was French connection and Seed that really took my money away…well they would have, if I had the money to spend.
These are my top picks of basics or star performers if you will.
My top pick at French connection was the skirt and top set. I’m really into the matching pieces look and I know the top is a cropped style -and trust me I usually avoid these at all costs- but this time it’s ok because the skirt is fairly high rise and will only leave about an inch if not less of skin showing. A bonus about buying the matching set is that you can easily layer a chiffon top underneath so you can wear it with jeans.
French connection also seems to be heavy handed on the pale pinks this season and I can see why, they are gorgeous in person. Both these knits will also look lovely with the printed skirt and the stripe neoprene dress. Well, that’s a given for any wardrobe.
Seed has way more beautiful clothing in store than I included on this board, but the two pieces I want the most are their white tassled top and chambray quilted gilet. Can you say MVP?
Ugh, I could talk about these stores for days. But I wont.
